Our healthcare professional has a background in primary care, chronic wound care, weight management and emergency medicine. Training and certification include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of wounds, hyperbaric treatment and board certification by National Board of Physician and Surgeons.
Our team provide in home medical evaluation and treatment, to manage wounds, weight and chronic conditions affecting your health. Our approach focuses on helping patients and caregivers better manage their illness, from the comfort of their residence, be it at their home, nursing home or assistant living, by performing most of the same services offered in a clinic.
We are open to discussion and implementation of alternative treatments, thereby giving patients a broader range of treatment option. We make every effort to tailor our programs toward unbiased modern guidelines with an unwavering focus on clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and measured clinical outcomes. After Business Hours Contact
We do not schedule late evening or night visits, but can be reached by calling the assigned number you will be given, for any urgent care needs. If we are unable to answer, leave a message with a return number to call, and someone will return your call, usually within one hour. Any questions that do not require an urgent response, please call us during our regular hours. If there is significant change in your condition, outside regular business hours, in certain situations, we are available by telemedicine. However should this be an emergency dial 911 and go to the nears emergency department.
The First Visit
Starting with a thorough assessment of the local and systemic factors, we develop a comprehensive plan of care providing the most appropriate and effective treatments. A comprehensive physical exam will be performed, questions about your personal and family medical history will be reviewed, a thorough review of your medication, any herbal and/or vitamin supplements and assessment of your surroundings for potential hazards. Initial treatment recommendation and educational counseling will be discussed with you and your care giver. Recommendation for labs and orders be given, depending on your conditions.
Follow-up Visits
At ever follow-up visit, we check to see what progress has been made and review any labs and/or study, completed since the last visit. If the visit is due to a chronic wound, we’ll re-examine your wound and surround area, and if needed, non-viable tissue maybe removed from the wound and the surrounding tissue. Changes in treatment plan my occur at this time, depending on test results, progression of the wound and general health status. We’ll also answer any questions you have about your general condition, anticipate results and the treatment plan.
